Welcome to The Spruce Lodge and to South Fork! We hope you enjoy our small-town and the vibe of our specialty accommodations. We aren't your traditional type of accommodation and hope you enjoy our "throw-back" way of doing things with touches of modern amenities. We are a "keyless entry" property and on the day of your arrival, you will receive a unique code to be able to access your room whenever you arrive - at any hour. We do not have staff available 24 hours a day but we do have staff available from 8am-8pm just a quick phone call or text away for any of your questions or needs at 719-715-8405.
Check-out procedure: Check-out time is 11 am. Simply lock your door and travel safely!

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR DATES BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR RESERVATION!!
Unlike most local hotels, we do not charge a 3-4% credit card processing fee. We offer no discounts for paying in cash.
If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us or cancel through the reservation system by 8pm 2 days prior to your arrival for no penalty. Please see below for holiday cancellation policies.
***In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than two (2) days notice, shorten your stay, check out early or if you have reserved the wrong dates, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. YOU MUST CANCEL THROUGH THE SITE YOU BOOKED ON. Contact booking.com or Expedia if your reservations were made through them. DO NOT EMAIL US TO CANCEL, YOUR EMAIL MAY NOT BE RECEIVED AND YOU WILL STILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR RESERVATION. If you booked through our website or over the phone, you call our innkeepers at 719-715-8405 to assist with the cancellation.
We highly encourage guests purchase travel insurance which will reimburse for family emergencies, vehicle trouble, and other last-minute change of travel plans.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods. *14 days notice of cancellation is required for holidays and special events such as December 20-January 5th, Spring Break (the month of March), and the week of 4th of July. 7 days notice is required for all other holiday periods resulting in a long holiday weekend. Please make sure your travel plans are solid before making your reservation.
PLEASE NOTE: Several third-party sites such as Expedia and Booking.com offer deeply discounted non-refundable rates. These reservations, once booked, CAN NOT be changed, cancelled, or edited regardless of the cancellation policies listed above. Please be 100% sure of your plans before reserving a discounted, non-refundable room. Even car trouble or family emergencies will not qualify for cancellation if you book a non-refundable room or if you are within the stated cancellation policies above.
Because we are a keyless entry property, you have flexibility in your arrival time. YOU WILL RECEIVE A DOOR CODE AND ROOM # REMINDER ON THE DAY OF YOUR ARRIVAL. If you do have questions, please call/text 719-715-8405. Check-in is at 3 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can usually be accommodated with advance notice and a $25 fee.
_________ Spruce Lodge is a 100% smoke free property. All rooms and property are strictly non-smoking. ; This applies to marijuana! An automatic minimum of $50 and up to $150 will be charged if your room smells of cigarettes or marijuana. Additional charges will apply if additional cleaning and airing are required resulting in loss of revenue for subsequent nights.
_________ Pets are allowed only for RV space rentals. Please keep pets leashed and clean up after your pet. Additional charges will be applied for noise complaints at the discretion of the Spruce Lodge management. A cleaning fee for undeclared pets will be assessed at up to $125 per night.
Our entire facility is family-friendly and children are welcome in any and all of our rooms. Please be respectful of your neighbors and be aware of the noise level of voices and televisions/music. Quiet time is 10 pm-8 am.
